Premises Training - February 2020

Cost; £175 per delegate
This training will enable delegates to understand the framework of legislation governing health and safety at work, knowledge of the site and specifically, their employers duties for managing the premises.
It is aimed at;
  • Caretakers
  • Maintenance staff
  • Premises/facilities managers
  • Grounds maintenance staff
  • IT staff
It is also useful for any nominated Responsible Person or Duty Holder.

  • An introduction to Health & Safety at work
  • General Risk Assessments
  • General health, safety and welfare
  • Working at height
  • Hazardous substances and COSHH
  • Introduction to Legionella
  • Personal protective equipment
  • Introduction to Asbestos
  • Fire safety
  • Gas safety
  • Electricity
  • Management of contractors
  • Manual handling
  • Lone working
There will also be a course summary and the opportunity for questions. Delegates will also receive a certificate of participation.
